LEADING THE FIGHT FOR
EQUITY IN OUR PARKS.

The Parks Alliance of Louisville is, has been, and will continue to be committed to supporting community-driven park projects in our 100+ Louisville public parks and community centers.

Our projects like the Southend Soccer Fields and the Nature Play Center at  Russell Lee Park bring critical green infrastructure to some of the most underserved communities in Louisville - and we’re only getting started.

We drive equitable investment in our public parks to improve the health and wellbeing of our

entire community.

The year 2020 brought on new challenges and new opportunities.  As our community responds to the public health crises of racial injustice and COVID-19, the Parks Alliance believes parks and greenspaces must be considered vital civic infrastructure in long-term recovery efforts to foster a more resilient city.
