LEADING THE FIGHT FOR
EQUITY IN OUR PARKS.
The Parks Alliance of Louisville (formerly Louisville Parks Foundation) is, has been, and will continue to be committed to supporting community-driven park projects in our 100+ Louisville public parks and community centers.
Our projects like the Southend Soccer Fields and the Nature Play Center at Russell Lee Park bring critical green infrastructure to some of the most underserved communities in Louisville - and we’re only getting started.
The year 2020 brought on new challenges and new opportunities. As our community responds to the public health crises of racial injustice and COVID-19, the Parks Alliance believes parks and greenspaces must be considered vital civic infrastructure in long-term recovery efforts to foster a more resilient city.
Have some time to spare? Want to volunteer for one day in our public parks? Looking for long term volunteer or internship opportunities? These are all great ways to help Louisville Parks and Recreation and YOUR public parks.
